so, i just realized why guys, when the relationship goes to hell on the girls part, become so much more attracted to the girl. Persuit. guys are made to pursue. If a girl in a relationship is leaving, guys pursue harder or get depressed and cease activity in the relationship. We are designed to pursue and when a girl is leaving, we pursue harder, since that is the way we are designed to function in relationships.

God is a god of answered prayers. careful what you pray for because he will answer it.

i prayed for conviction and my life is being flooded and everything i enjoyed and loved is subject to scrutiny right now. it is a good thing, it is a thing that i should want, but right now it is so hard to see that.

pray for me. pray for farther conviction and for the holy spirit to compel me to follow through with this conviction.

God shows perfect power in weakness. Being secure in weakness means that i show my weakness. By showing my weakness I am demonstrating that anything in me that is powerful or good is not from me, since I am constantly displaying my weakness. By showing our weakness we are showing christs strength. By showing we are incapable, we show christ’s strength.

Ecclesiastes basically bashes life and concludes life is meaningless without God. That means everything in life is meaningless without god. Everything is meaningless without god in everything. Relationships, friendships, jobs, money, all meaningless without God in the center of it.
